A non-profit foundation dedicated to erecting a world-class permanent monument in the Republic of Korea, honoring all 63 allied nations and unsung veterans.
Dear citizens, veterans, and global supporters,
In 1950, when the Republic of Korea was on the brink of collapse, brave youths from around the world left their loved ones to defend the freedom of a country they had never known. From the 16 combat nations like the US, UK, and Canada, to the 5 medical support nations, 32 material aid nations, 7 reconstruction nations, and the 61,000 volunteers of Puerto Rico’s 65th Regiment, their valor remains our sacred foundation.
Yet, more than 70 years after the war, an integrated memorial commemorating all 63 nations and unsung heroes has not been completed on Korean soil. Surviving veterans are now over ninety years old. We cannot afford to delay.
Carrying the noble spirit of the Orange County Korean War Veterans Memorial (ockoreanwar.org) in California, our foundation is uniting citizens and global allies to build this monument. We pledge to preserve their memory for the next century.
Preserving and authenticating the historical records of 178,566 fallen heroes and 63 allied nations.
Erecting a world-class granite memorial bearing the inscribed names of all participating entities.
Strengthening international friendship with allied countries and supporting descendants of veterans.
Inspiring younger generations that Freedom Is Not Free through living peace education programs.
